Illinois College TheatreWorks is a campus driven program that consists of a variety of performances including MainStage plays, student-directed one-acts, and an improv troupe. There are two theaters in which performances take place: Sibert Theatre, a 250-seat modified trust theatre and the Experimental BlackBox Theatre (the ICEBOX), a 64-seat modular stage space. TheatreWorks provides the city of Jacksonville an opportunity to enjoy well-rehearsed performances by the students and staff of Illinois College.
